PLEASE FULL-VIEW. Smaller version look really, really bad.
Okay, a real deviation for once!
There are actually two of these. The first one was a failed attempt: I spent hours agonizing over it, because no matter how much I drew, drew, drew, it never ended up looking like Hyde. Finally, I gave up and donated it to the nearest trash bin. Then, I tried again because I just liked Hyde too much to never make a portrait of him (he's got an amazing voice, and for those who don't know, he's the vocalist of L'Arc~en~Ciel), but because I was so traumatized by the drawing process of the first one, I didn't make much of an effort.
What really makes me mad is that this one definitely looks much more like him than the first one. It's these kinds of things that drive me crazy.

P.S. His hair's actually white paint, but it didn't show through the scan... That's kind of annoying, too.
Actually, they're an immensely popular japanese band, and yes, it's true that they've sung some anime opening songs. Generally, lots of popular musicians in Japan are requested to sing for anime. Pierrot, for example. I'm not sure about Dir-en-grey, though.
They have really incredible music, and you should really check it out. It's mostly indies rock.

Pencil. I just tinted it on my computer, because when I print it out, it's blue. Now, because it's tinted, when I print it out, my comp makes it grey.
