This is the second version of "Black & White - ShikaIno". Since I'm lazy, here's the description of version 1:


The second picture from my Black & White series. As you might have guessed, the two people here are Ino and Shikamaru (both older).

I actually have two version: one where Ino is blushing, and one where she isn't (I originally posted both of them, but I ended up deleting v.1 because its presence was just pointless - if you really want to see what it looked like, just slash a bunch of lines over Ino's nose). Basically, the one in which she's blushing is the one with a "story". The one where she isn't is for my aesthetic preferences. The "story" of the first one is simple, as always. Shikamaru just cornered Ino, and she in turn is both confused and flustered by his strange behavior. ^_^ Naturally, she's also finding herself wildly attracted to the awesome, awesome Shikamaru (hell yeah!); on the other hand, Shikamaru is being his little smart self and enjoying the sight of her being attracted to him.

I love this couple - it's probably the only straight couple I obsess over from Naruto. Which means that this will probably be the only picture of a straight couple from my Black & White series. (slash = wonderful goodness)

P.S. To be truthful, I'm not completely satisfied with Ino's face - is it just me or does it just not really look like her? Well, at least I like how Shikamaru turned out.
P.P.S. This, like all my other art, is my own. Wait, that didn't come out exactly right. Um, let's see... In other words, I didn't use tracing paper or whatever else people may use to copy stuff. I drew it on my own with the occasional reference to the actual artist's drawings for things like what their clothing looks like, etc.
P.P.P.S. I drew this all with ink on paper, then applied black over the black once it was scanned in (you know, because the black always gets messed up once it's scanned).
